Dubai Islands is getting a new beach. On 8 October 2026, Nakheel announced it will upgrade 3 km of shoreline on Island B’s western side and add 320 metres of new beach frontage near Bay Villas, with completion expected in Q4 2027 (Khaleej Times). It is the latest in a run of announcements that are turning Dubai’s newest waterfront from a masterplan into a place people live.

- New beach and breakwaters: 3 km of western shoreline upgraded, existing rock revetments removed, and 320 m of beach added by Q4 2027.
